Kairo and Lynn Forbes are enjoying a fun-filled granddaughter and granny vacation in Turkey.
The pair shared some videos of their arrival wearing identical clothing, enjoying the streets of Istanbul and eating at luxurious restaurants.
Lynn Forbes also reflected on how her late son AKA wanted to take her and Kairo to visit Istanbul because he appreciated the rich history and vibrant culture of Türkiye so much.
“Kiernan, your spirit lives on and hearing people, often strangers, relate stories about meeting you and their very memorable interactions with you, are very heartwarming but also brings healing to us at the same time. @djzinhle wants me to have the beautiful vase that Kiernan bought for her on this trip and I will keep it safe for @kairo.forbes to have when she grows up. What a special moment,” wrote Lynn.
In December, Lynn used social media to express her heartfelt and very personal insight on loss and the value of self-grace.
“This Christmas, I want to share something deeply personal and meaningful; The gift of grace. In the midst of grief, I have learnt that grace is not just for others. It’s a gift we must offer ourselves too. It’s about choosing to let go of pain, to forgive where we have been wronged and to heal in a way that honours ourselves and others,” wrote Lynn.
