Controversial blogger, Musa Khawula, made his first court appearance in the Alexandra Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 14 January.
Khawula, who is known for attacking celebrities on social media, will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
He is facing fresh charges of violating the Cybercrimes Act.
Khawula was detained in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday, 8 January after a warrant of arrest was issued for him.
According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), he was arrested in connection with a Sandton, Gauteng case but was arrested in Dundee KwaZulu-Natal. He was subsequently collected from Dundee SAPS and taken back to Gauteng to appear at the Alexandra Magistrates Court.

He is remanded in custody with no bail and his matter has been postponed to the 21st of January 2025.
