A loaf of bread for 99c? Yes, with FNB eBucks & Pick n Pay.
Zamabomvu Ngubane, Head of eBucks Rewards joins Refilwe Moloto on Kaya Biz to share more information on how South Africans can take advantage of this incredible saving offer.
The initiative first kicked off in July with a voucher system that allowed FNB customers to swipe for their bread purchase and a voucher was allocated allowing them to save R15 on their loaf of bread.
After seeing a significant uptake in the amount of bread purchases using this offer, Ngubane said FNB eBucks then decided to reward customers with the option to buy a loaf of bread for 99c.
“The new proposition to purchase a loaf of bread for 99c is open to our entry segment, which consists of the FNB Easy PAYU and Easy Bundle (previously Easy Smart) customers.
So, if you have a debit card, either the Easy PAYU or Easy Bundle, you swipe that card in the week and we will allocate a voucher which will enable customers to buy a loaf of bread for 99c.”
Ngubane says the offer is available at all PNP stores nationwide but customers can only buy 1 loaf of bread a week at 99c.
Unfortunately, the offer will no longer be available at Shoprite stores, although FNB customers will continue to earn rewards at Checkers and Shoprite.
