“There remain only two choices – submit or fight” – Floyd Shivambu on joining the MK Party.
Floyd Shivambu has expressed his sentiments on his new political move on social media. Speaking at the EFF press conference on Thursday, Shivambu announced his resignation, and that he is stepping down from all EFF deployments, announcing that he would “be actively involved in uMkhonto we Sizwe party”.
He said he believes that political decisions should not be personalized. He emphasized that he wishes all structures of the EFF will accept the difficult decision he has taken. Shivambu submitted his resignation as the EFF’s deputy president on Wednesday evening.
Following the EFF Press Conference where his resignation was confirmed the former party Deputy President took to social media to reinforce his new political home.
