The attempted murder and trespassing case against Sizok’thola presenter Xolani Maphanga and show director/bodyguard Bongani Mkhabela has been postponed to August 2024.
Maphanga and Mkhabela who are out on bail since April are facing 3 counts of attempted murder and trespassing which is a schedule 5 offence.
The pair, together with other crew members of the Moja Love drug busting show reportedly went to the home of a woman in Soshanguve and allegedly assaulted her.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) the two were looking for drugs in the woman’s home and claimed she was selling drugs.
Mkhabela who is also the owner of Tshenolo private investigation company, and Maphanga handed themselves over to police on 09 April after a warrant of arrest was issued against them.
The case against them has been postponed after being transferred from the Soshanguve Magistrates Court to a regional court following the State concluding their investigations.
