Former US President Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 charges in his hush money trial.
Trump is the first former President of the US to have been charged and convicted of a crime.
This after Trump was accused of falsifying business documents regarding a “hush money” payment he made to adult film star, Stormy Daniels ahead of the US elections in 2016.
The 77-year old who served as US President from 2017 to 2021, tried to cover up a sex scandal with Daniels in an attempt to not derail his political career.
Trump, who intends to run against current US President Joe Biden in the upcoming US elections, pleaded not guilty, however a jury found the billionaire businessman guilty.
Todd Blanche, Trump’s attorney plans to appeal the guilty verdict as soon as possible, saying the publicity and timing of the trial was not fair to Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump reacted to the verdict by calling the trial rigged and a disgrace.
In 2023, Donald Trump was was found guilty of sexually abusing US writer, E Jean Carroll.
A jury reached the verdict against Trump within 3-hours after evidence and testimonies was heard in court.
