Micasa’s European Tour to make stops in Madrid, Paris, and London.
Mi Casa has announced a European tour that will see them crisscrossing the streets of Europe later this month.
The band which fuses a blend of jazz, dance music, and R&B, as well as African and Brazilian traditions, was formed in 2011 and features Portuguese-born singer Joao da Fonseca, aka J’Something; DJ/producer Sipho Mphahlaza, aka Dr. Duda; and trumpeter Moshe Kgasoane, aka Mo-T.
Band vocalist J’Something posted information on the May 20–21 tour on his Instagram account, expressing his delight over the tour which he says will see them going to European cities for the first time.
“We have dreams and we have realities … the idea is to bring the two together as closely as possible. I remember so clearly when we wrote These Streets thinking to myself … “imagine we could actually make a living from this,” he wrote.
“Fast forward to today and here I am announcing a whole European tour with my band to visit countries I have never been too and a few others that are slowly but surely becoming other little homes around the world! It would mean a lot to us if you could share the news that we coming and all tickets + info is on our website,”
