Friends, family, and entertainment industry colleagues have gathered to honor Mpho Sebeng’s life at the Johannesburg Theatre.
On Sunday, May 5, the 30-year-old passed away in a terrible accident in Potchefstroom.
Mpho Sebeng made his television debut on “Zero Tolerance” and “Justice For All.” Sebeng went on to star in television shows including “Bay of Plenty” and “Scandal” on e.tv, but his breakthrough role on prime time television came in “Ring of Lies.”
Throughout his illustrious career, Sebeng appeared in films such as “The Jakes are Missing,” for which he received a 2017 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also starred in “Winnie” with Hollywood actors Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard. He appeared in the Netflix series “Collision,” “The Brave Ones” and “Hush Money”.
