A listener shared that her husband recently left their house to help her sister with something. It wasn’t supposed to take long, but he didn’t return home until the next day. His excuse was that he fell asleep at a friend’s place. The listener said this has never happened before and wonders if she should be concerned about her husband’s recent behaviour.
“Last week, my husband got a call from his sister to come and help her with something. Hubby left the house at 5 PM and only came back the next day at 6 AM. Me and the kids spent the night worried, and what’s worse, my sister-in-law was also not picking up her phone. I couldn’t leave the house because we have a one-month-old baby.
“Upon his arrival, he says that after helping the sister, he went to his friend; they drank, and he got drunk and slept over. This is the first time my husband does something like this, he is always home by 22:00, even when he goes out with friends.
“I don’t want to accuse him of anything, but I am finding it hard to believe his story. Should I start doing investigations, or should I just turn a blind eye? Is my curiosity getting the better of me?
