South African politician Julius Malema recently had the joy of helping his oldest son Ratanang get ready for his matric dance and even got to drive him there.
Reflecting on the experience Malema shared, “I made the decision to become a father, and I have been putting in a lot of effort. Yesterday was a memorable and exciting experience.”
He went on to say, “I had the pleasure of assisting my eldest son as he prepared for his matric dance and became his chauffeur.”
Malema also mentioned how important it is to him that his ancestors taught him not to be “envious or hateful,” which he believes has contributed to their success.
In closing, Malema stated, “I am proud to say that the event was executed beautifully, and my son did an incredible job.”
Last year, Malema sent his eldest son a touching tribute message on his 18th birthday.
Malema, who has two sons with his wife Mantwa Matlala, had his eldest son, Ratanang, from a previous relationship with Morpeng Ramohlale.
The EFF leader sent a sentimental birthday message to his son, including crediting Ratanang for giving him a sense of purpose in life.
