Emtee’s manager, Lebo Maswanganyi, has passed away.
Taking to social media, Emtee revealed the tragic news to his fans in a public statement on the 27th of April.

In a statement released by Emtee’s record label, they said Lebo’s cause of death is unknown and will be shared with the public by his family in due course.

There’s been a lot of speculation of what happened on social media.
The statement asked the fans to send prayers to Lebo’s family and Emtee and cleared up speculation about how he died, adding that at the time of his passing he was neither in studio nor was he with Emtee.
“We view these and similar utterances inhuman and insensitive to both Lebo’s family and friends in particular Emtee who, at the moment, is trying to come to terms with the loss of a childhood friend.”
