The ‘Idols SA’ judge encouraged those who are dealing with problems to find a person they can open up to, be it a counsellor, friend, or priest.
The video has over 300,000 views and a lot of people shared how the video gave them hope.
One particular story is of a woman who was about to commit suicide and watched the video, which then saved her life.
Somizi says the woman sent him a direct message (DM) on IG and spoke about how his video came at the right time to save her life.
“There is one person who said she was five-minutes from committing suicide, five minutes, and decided to just go through Instagram, but like, I don’t know how and why, but it happened and she was thanking me and saying “Thank you, thank you, thank you. You were five minutes on time and you have changed my perspective on life, my outlook on life”, “said Somizi.
