South African hip-hop artist Cassper and YouTuber Mpoomy Ledwaba recently had an eye-opening conversion about life and submitting to God on her podcast Wisdom and Wellness.
During their chat, Cassper admitted to being addicted to sexual immorality and vanity.
“I was addicted to sex and sexual immorality in general. I had such a big ego, and I thought I was better than everyone else. I was humble in the sense that I was a good person, and I didn’t offend anyone. I was headed straight for hell if I didn’t have that wake-up.”
Speaking on giving his life to God, the rapper noted that, “This time, I was giving my life to God. I was writing my soul in the heavenly book to say that when I leave this place, remember me.”
With this outlook on life, Cassper’s perspective on success has changed.
“My definition of success was being a billionaire, going on these trips with all the models, and being able to ball out with his family. My idea of success was that my wife would be so reliant on me financially that she couldn’t do anything without me. I was of the concept that money makes everything better.”
However, now success for him is “humility and obeying God,” said the rapper. “If I can just obey God every day, I am successful.”
