A man in the United States who won one of the biggest payments in history (around R25 billion) filed a lawsuit against his baby mama.
The man won the jackpot this year after purchasing his ticket at a petrol station.
He is suing the mother of his child in a US District Court with a complaint that she violated a nondisclosure agreement by revealing protected information about his winnings.
NBC News reports that the court papers state that the defendant in the case “disclosed the information to the winner’s father and stepmother. Court filings state that the winner lives in Maine and the defendant lives in Massachusetts. The defendant has until Dec. 6 to respond to the lawsuit.”
The 959 Breakfast team discussed the story this morning and invited listeners to share their thoughts on it.
