South African comedian Trevor Noah has finally premiered his highly anticipated podcast, What Now?
Noah had popular US actor Dwayne The Rock Johnson as his first guest.
During the sitdown, the acclaimed actor and former WWE wrestler revealed that some political parties tried to persuade him to run for president.
Trevor Noah recently opened up about his experience with imposter syndrome, among other things.
After enjoying great success over the years, Trevor pointed out that we take for granted what imposter syndrome is, saying, “What we don’t understand is that because we are so far removed from the process, we oftentimes do not know the inner workings of anyone that we appreciate.”
Trevor recalled hearing about Lionel Messi, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, facing similar challenges. He said, “I remember hearing that Lionel Messi would throw up before many games. Some of his teammates talk about this, and you go, Why? I mean, this is Lionel Messi.”
Additionally, Trevor explained that what then happens to us is that we find ourselves in similar situations. “And because nobody has told us what that situation entails, we then end up in a space where we feel like we don’t belong because we don’t have the inner monologue that matches the outer dialogue that we were experiencing other people with,” said the comedian.
