The planet’s oldest dog, Bobi, has died at the age of 31.
The world’s oldest dog, Bobi, passed away on Saturday. His age was 31.
Guinness World Records, which on February 2 recognized Bobi as the world’s oldest dog, announced his passing.

Bobi recently celebrated his 31st birthday and was the oldest dog ever officially verified by Guinness World Records.
In May, Bobi celebrated her 31st birthday with over 100 guests from all around the world. He resided in Conqueiros, a Portuguese village.

Dr. Karen Becker, a vet who had seen Bobi multiple times, broke the news of her passing. Becker said Bobi had taught the world all he was mean’t to teach.
“Is there ever enough time 💔? I think not. Last night, this sweet boy earned his wings 🕊️. “
“Despite outliving every dog in history, his 11,478 days on earth would never be enough, for those who loved him. When we asked Leonel what his recipe was for Bobi’s exceptionally long life.” wrote Becker
