A documentary that has been 21-years in the making for Kanye West has finally been picked up by streaming giant Netflix.
Buying the rights to ‘Ye’s story for a record $30 million (R435 million), the docu-series is set to include never-seen-before footage of the U.S rapper’s life.
With pictures and video content said to span over two decades, the series will cover Kanye’s music and fashion career, his failed U.S Presidential bid, as well as the death of his mom Donda West.

There is no word on whether the series will touch on his marriage and divorce to Kim Kardashian but chances are that their divorce settlement will include a seal-tight non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
The series will stream later this year, although Netflix is yet to release a statement and title about the highly anticipated project.
Kanye has talked about his ambitions to release his story one day and now that the day has arrived, the Ye brigade cannot wait.
