Over the last year, catching a cold or having a scratchy throat left many with anxiety.
The Good Friday team asked the Kaya 959 listeners how many tests they had taken over the last 365 days, these were some of their responses.
Listen to the full conversation here:
One thing is for sure, there have been a lot of tests that were taken for COVID-19 and if you took the test, you know the excruciating discomfort that comes with the long cotton swab.
Not to mention the mandatory social distance while waiting in line for your turn to avoid catching or spreading the virus, or worse the fear of what results you might get in a few days.
Many can agree, living in the pandemic hasn’t been easy, especially those moments you had to go for a compulsory test due to exposure.

The team shared the amount of times they had taken the test: Kaya Sport’s Morena Mothupi said he had taken the test two times, while Kaya News’ Juliet Joseph and Mbali Dhlamini said they took the test four times.
Skhumba shared how he only tested once and got a negative result. He spoke about how he made a conscious decision to behave like he had been diagnosed positive through eating healthy, exercising and drinking his vitamins.
Last year, Skhumba shared a video diary after undergoing the COVID-19 test.
