“Happy birthday to you Queen Mother” – Caster Semenya celebrates her mother’s birthday.
South African Double Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya has honored her mother for another year around the sun.
Her mother has been very supportive of her athletic journey.
In July, Semenya won her discrimination case in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). In the case she challenged regulations, promulgated by the sports governing body regulating track and field.
According to the Human Rights Watch, women like Semenya, who have naturally occurring higher testosterone levels associated with Differences of Sex Development (DSD), are barred from competing.
Semenya also announced the release memoir “The Race To Be Myself” which will available on the 31 October.

The celebrity uploaded a beautiful snapshot of herself with her mother and added a moving eulogy and heartfelt thanks.
Semenya expressed her love for her mother thanking her for the life she gave her.
“A happy birthday to you Queen Mother, thank you for this precious life you have given to me. I appreciate you and will always be grateful for that. I hope you had a great one and wish you many more to come,” wrote Semenya
