Lil Nas X dropped his limited edition ‘Satan Shoes’ shortly after releasing his equally controversial new video, ‘Call Me By Your Name (Montero)’.
The video starts in the Garden of Eden. The Grammy Award-winner then pole dances into hell before giving Satan a lap dance.
Nike denies involvement
Nike has distanced itself from Lil Nas X’s new sneakers. The ‘Satan Shoes’ were designed by New York-based street company MSCHF.
Nike received backlash from concerned consumers who accused the company of supporting satanism.

The popular sneaker brand says it had no involvement in the creation of the shoes.
“We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF. Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them,” NBC News quoted Nike as saying in a statement.
Lil Nas X “apologises”
Lil Nas X defended his controversial new video. He said he was tormented for years about being gay, with many telling him he would end up in hell.
“I spent my entire teenage years hating myself because of the s**t y’all preached would happen to me because I was gay. So I hope u are mad, stay mad, feel the same anger you teach us to have towards ourselves,” he tweeted.
He also offered a fake apology to those who are mad about his ‘Satan Shoes’.
