Moja Love says the channel will monitor progress on charges brought against their Uyajola 9/9 presenter Jub Jub.
On Thursday, 27 July, Molemo Katleho Maarohanye, better known at Jub Jub, handed himself over to Brixton Police, and made a brief appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
The hip hop artist and TV personality, has been released on bail of R10 000, and faces charges for rape, assault and attempted murder.
In a statement, Moja Love says the channel will allow the law to take its course.
“The channel recently learnt of media personality Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye’s appearance in court earlier today on various charges.
The information at our disposal is that Jub Jub handed himself over to the police earlier today, and he is now out on bail.
The channel will monitor the progress in this matter and will allow the law to take its course.”

The charges against Jub Jub comes just days after the TV personality confirmed his return as the host of Uyajola 99 on Moja Love.
Season 3 of the show was set to premier on 06 August.
