South African hip-hop stars Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C have announced the tour dates for their ‘African Throne’ tour. The duo first announced their tour of the African continent and the UAE in May of this year.
On Friday morning, the pair announced the dates and official stops for their tour. They kick off proceedings on August 10 in Tanzania. Tickets are already live.
Cassper Nyovest shows love to AKA
In a recent interview making the rounds online, Cassper admitted to being a fan of the late rapper’s music. This came as a surprise, as Cassper and AKA were not the best of friends before his passing in February this year. He shared that Company is one of his favourite songs at the moment.
“I’ve always been a fan of good music, and with Kiernan’s project, it is so hard for me. People don’t understand how hard it has been for me, and they may take it however they want. Company is brilliant, and every time I am in the club and I hear it, I’m like, this is such a big song,” said the rapper.
“It’s still one of my favourite songs, and it’s not every day you hear a song like that. It makes you feel so good. The way they put that song together is brilliant.”
Moreover, he shared that they recorded music together. “We actually have music together that people have never heard. We made a few records together,” said Cassper, taking off his hat to AKA’s contribution to the music industry as a whole.
