Friends and Family of Eusebius McKaiser writes formal letter of complaint to AVBOB.
Friends and family of Eusebius McKaiser have now officially complained to AVBOB about the way they handled his memorial service in Johannesburg and funeral in Makhanda.
In the letter which has been made public, they describe how they were appalled by the manner in which AVBOB treated the high-profile personality’s death as a marketing opportunity.
They further say in the letter that AVBOB exploited the family and friends of the deceased’s vulnerability to sell financial services and said that their “guidance” was calculated to maximize their profitability.

The complaint letter further adds that AVBOB’s business model centres on marketing their services to grieving people, rather than comforting them.
“We, the undersigned, friends and relatives of the late Eusebius McKaiser, write to you today to communicate our disappointment with the way that your company handled his memorial service in Johannesburg on Tuesday 6 June, and his funeral service in Makhanda on Saturday 10 June. “
“We demand from you that some form of reparation is made by your company to the bereaved, whom you have to date only undermined and avoided responding to directly.” read the letter.
