Nadia Nakai has emotionally expressed that she is still not coping with the loss of her partner, slain rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes.
The rapper took to Twitter on Tuesday, 09 May sharing that she is never falling in love again because she’s always been so unlucky in love.
Nadia who was dating AKA at the time of his brutal murder outside a Durban restaurant, has previously shared that she is struggling to move on with her life without him by her side.
While Nadia has the support of AKA’s family who have reiterated that although the Company album creator is no more, his girlfriend will always be a part of their family.
AKA’s parents, Tony and Lynn Forbes say this is because Nadia saved their son’s life after his ex-financée, Anele Tembe fell to her death from a Cape Town hotel in April 2021.
Due to the circumstances around Tembe’s death, it is believed that AKA’s murder was a planned hit, and that he was targeted during his trip to Durban earlier this year.
Since then, his girlfriend has been pouring her heart out with her followers, sharing that each day without the love of her life is taking a toll on her.
As much as Nadia is back in the studio and securing gigs, returning to “normal” seems like a far-fetched dream for her.
Prior to dating AKA, Nadia was in a relationship with American rapper, Vic Mensa, which ended after a few months.
Having loved and lost a number of times throughout her life, has left Nadia feeling despondent that she will ever find love again.
I’ve been so unlucky with love. I’m never doing it again.

Feeling for the rapper, a number of her fans have reached out to Nadia with the message that she shouldn’t give up hope of love finding her again.
“See how he found you after Anele passed and you 2 were happy together is the same way you’ll find your healing and your happiness with someone else. And you’ll grow old with that person. You’ll get passed this.”
“Sometimes it’s important to remember that love may not be a “forever” type of love, at least not in the worldy sense of the word. It’s giving “love like the world is ending tomorrow” type love.”
“Give yourself time to heal , you are still hurt and afraid you won’t find someone that will love and support you like Kiernan . He will always be your man but also he wouldn’t want you to be alone and lonely He would want you to smile and be happy again.”
