Apart from a system pump failure at Eikenhof, the water utility is also struggling to stabilize systems at the Crown Reservoir.
This affects residents in Eagles Nest, Alan Manor, Naturena, Linden, Honeydew and Boschkop.
Johannesburg Water says they have registered steady improvement at Crown Gardens reservoir that left thousands of residents without water in several suburbs this week.
On Sunday, 26 March, Johannesburg Mayor Thapelo Amad said the city was doing everything possible to ensure clean running water is made available to all residents.
