Metro Boomin has sold a portion of his music catalog for R 1,3 billion.
A portion of Metro Boomin’s (real name Leland Tyler Wayne) music library was sold in a transaction that reportedly cost around R1.3 billion.
The Atlanta producer is rumoured to have sold off the rights to some of his discography, which includes songs like Not All Heroes Wear Capes (2018) and his 2014 debut, 19 & Boomin.

His most recent album, Heroes and Villains, debuted at number one on Billboard’s US Top 200 albums chart with 185 000 units sold in the first week.

Metro Boomin has been known for producing classics records which include:

According to TMZ, Shamrock Capital, established in 1978 by senior executive Roy E. Disney, has acquired a portion of Metro Boomin’s publishing rights, according to insiders who provided Billboard with information on the deal.
However, none of the parties involved have yet to provide additional information on the acquisition.
