Manchester United‘s owners are open to selling the club should a good offer come.
The iconic club is currently valued at around £4.5bn (around R86 billion).
Man United’s owners have already held talks with several people interested in buying the team.
Musk, believed to be an admirer of the iconic club is reportedly monitoring the situation at Old Trafford and could make an offer soon.
United’s fans have expressed their frustration with the way the current owners are running the club.

Elon Musk is yet to confirm nor deny the reports.
Last year Musk gained complete control of Twitter after finalizing a $44bn deal to buy the social media network.
