Red boots everywhere: Why these R 6 000 viral boots have everyone talking.
There is a red boots frenzy going on social media and everyone wants a pair of this unusual fashion item.
According to New York Times, the boots were made by MSCHF, a collective located in New York that has a long history of mocking consumer culture, often by making sales of consumer products.
The New York-based art team is the same people behind Lil Nas X’s devil sneakers.
The absurdity of the boots’ images, which are anticipated to go on sale for R6 200 ($350) on February 16, has captured the attention of users on Twitter and TikTok.
