This after the Bulls company released a statement on Saturday with concerns over their player’s safety after he had missed three weeks of training with no communication.
While circumstances surrounding Nkosi’s “missing status” are unknown at this stage, the club did confirm that Chief Executive, Edgar Rathbone had been to Emalahleni to check in on Sbu Nkosi.
Initial reports on Monday claimed that Nkosi was spotted in Mpumalanga, but these were quickly rubbished by the club.
Not long after, the Bulls shared confirmation that Rathbone had been to see Nkosi and gave him the club’s support.
“Once it was established that Nkosi was safe, unharmed and in a position to speak, Chief Executive, Edgar Rathbone went to Nkosi’s home (with permission from the player) spending alone time with him, to understand how best the company can provide him with the support he needs and what that support is.
As the Bulls family, we are thrilled that Nkosi is safe.”
