Popular Pretoria nightclub Ayepyep Lifestyle has temporarily closed its doors following the tragic passing of co-founder DJ Sumbody.
The Monate Mpolaye hitmaker was gunned down in the early hours of Sunday morning with his bodyguards after leaving a gig in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
One of the bodyguards is said to be fighting for his life in hospital.
Ayepyep will be closed from Monday, 21 November to Monday 28, November 2022.
“This serves to notify the temporary closure of our doors at Ayepyep Menlyn due to the untimely passing of our beloved brother DJ Sumbody.”

The Ayepyep Lifestyle in Cape Town will also close down for the same duration.
The police in Gauteng are searching for suspects and investigating circumstances that led to a shooting.
