English football club Manchester United has issued an official statement on Piers Morgan and Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview.
Man United revealed this afternoon that they have initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview.
The club will not be making further comments until this process reaches its conclusion.
In the 90-minute interview spread across two parts, Ronaldo revealed that although he loves the fans, he is unhappy with the way the club is run and the treatment he has received from the coaching staff.
Ronaldo alleges that some people did not believe him when he asked for some time off to be with his 6-month-old daughter who was in hospital before the season began.
The 5-time world player of the year also called out head coach Erik ten Hag and accused him of proving and being disrespectful toward him.
