Emtee slams African Americans ‘talking s**t’ about Africans

Emtee has an important public service announcement for black Americans who are disrespectful towards Africans.

The rapper took to Twitter to express anger over some of the comments he has heard about Africans.

“I’m tired of “African Americans” talking s**t about us Africans talkin bout we stink, we this, we that, we ugly n some other s**t. We warriors down here … ni**a!”

It’s unclear which African Americans he spotted making the comments, but Emtee made it clear he was gatvol of the hate.

Who makes the best hooks in Africa? 

It seems Emtee woke up on Wednesday with a lot on his mind. He clapped back at several shady Twitter users making comments about whether he made the best hooks in the local music industry.

The drama started after he asked a simple question on Twitter: “Who make better hooks than me?”

It seems the question was a rhetorical one, but some social media users did not get the memo.

While some of Emtee’s followers said he was one of the best in the game, some tweeps named artists such AKA and Zoocci Coke Dope.

Some shady tweeps claimed they were better.

“I asked a simple question. WHO MAKE BETTER HOOKS THAN ME? Never said I’m better than anybody or compared myself to anybody. Yall lil boys carry on competing. I’m making music n raising my kids,” he wrote in a separate post.

Emtee is the G.O.A.T

The ‘Plug’ hitmaker also took the discussion to Instagram, and made it clear he was the G.O.A.T when it comes to hooks.

“I have been working on hooks since I was in grade three, that’s all I am saying.”

He told his followers to expect nothing by the best from his highly anticipated album, ‘Logan’.

“’Logan’ is coming, you’ll see. You think I’m playing… I’ll keep writing these hooks and they’ll keep being better than yours,” he said.

Emtee released a new single in late January, called ‘iThemba’. The song received rave reviews from both his fans and critics.

“Only goat things,” one fan wrote on YouTube.

    • regulate, in harmony with international standards, the processing of personal information by public and private bodies in a manner that gives effect to the right to privacy subject to justifiable limitations that are aimed at protecting other rights and important interests,
    1. Definitions and Interpretation

    1.1.“Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and where it is applicable, identifiable, existing juristic person, including all information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. 

    1.2  Parliament assented to POPIA on 19 November 2013. The commencement date of section 1, Part A of Chapter 5, section 112 and section 113 was 11 April 2014. The commencement date of the other sections was 1 July 2020 (with the exception of section 110 and 114(4). The President of South Africa has proclaimed the POPI commencement date to be 1 July 2020.

     
    1.3. “Processing” means the creation, generation, communication, storage, destruction of personal information as more fully defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.  

    1.4. “You” or the “user” means any person who accesses and browses this website for any purpose. 

    1.4. “Website” means the website of the KAYA 959 at URL www.kaya959.co.za or such other URL as KAYA 959 may choose from time to time.   

    1. Status and Amendments
