Tania Campbell, the mayor of Ekurhuleni, will face a motion of no confidence today (Wednesday 26 October)
The African National Congress (ANC) caucus is the one that proposed the motion.
Tania Campbell, who has served as the executive mayor of the Ekurhuleni Municipality for less than a year, is up for a vote of no confidence.

Through a multi-party coalition with a total of 98 council seats, Campbell won the position.
The motion must receive the support of 113 council members in order to pass.
