Zahara will need to ‘clean up her act’ if she wants to keep her reality series with the SABC, or the show may be pulled before it even sees the light of day.
The singer who was given a lifeline amid her deep financial struggles, has been accused of acting up on set and at times fails to show up for shoots.
As reported by City Press, Zahara’s “diva tendencies” could jeopardise production if she continues on this path.
Just a few months ago, the Loliwe hitmaker was at risk of losing her Roodepoort home, after failing to make the monthly payments.
Now, with things picking up for her, Zahara appears to be letting it get to her head by throwing her weight around and expecting the film crew to jump through hoops.
While filming is currently under way, production was nearly canned after Zahara missed a shoot.
According to reports, an urgent meeting was held to discuss the way forward after Zahara informed the production team to come out to her in Katlehong to shoot, which was not part of the initial arrangement.
The crew say this wasn’t the first time and she missed a flight back to Johannesburg earlier this month due to her reportedly fighting with a member of her management team.
This isn’t the first time Zahara’s work ethic had come under the spotlight and issues around substance abuse and performing drunk have circulated around the singer for years.
Zahara hasn’t responded to reports she was told to clean up her act on set.
