A few weeks ago, Mac G went on his podcast to put DJ Maphorisa on blast, accusing him of not wanting fellow Amapiano stars to enjoy the same success as him.
Phori addressed this in a recent IG Live.
He says anyone who condones what Mag G said is useless.
“I won’t tolerate someone insulting me, he is a small boy,” he said.
Phori warns Mac G to watch his back when they meet at gigs.
“We are going to meet at gigs and he’ll be scared. He’ll explain to me what he was saying. It’s not over yet. I don’t play like that.”
The podcaster has just dropped his debut EP titled Songs I Put My Name On and Madumane is impressed with the first single.
“That song he put out with Sir Trill is a nice song, I like it and good for them.”
He notes that he’ll always support the Amapiano movement but MacG is not on the same level as him,
“I’m not competing with them, they are small kids. That’s a fact, they’ll never reach my level, they are still small boys.
“Go support, as long as it’s Piano I don’t have a problem. Piano needs to grow.”
