Legendary South African actor Vusi Thanda made headlines in September following his cry to the public to assist him financially.
Speaking to DJ Sbu on his YouTube channel recently, the actor shared how Shona Ferguson assisted him financially when he was sick and couldn’t work for money.
Vusi Thanda says he was shocked when he first heard about Shona’s passing. “I couldn’t believe it. That young man was so strong. What a loving man,” he shares.
“He respected me, he called me in different ways, papa, father together with his wife.”
Two years ago, Shona Ferguson used to send him money and encouraged him to keep going.
“You know Sho sent his driver with a voucher of R5000 and said, tell him to guy buy food because Diabetes is a sickness that is related to food.
“Thereafter he called me and gave me R12 000 for three months every month end. I appreciate the company’s love.”
The actor expressed his gratitude to the Fergusons for everything they’ve done for him.
