DJ Sbu is being ridiculed once again, this time for handing a roadside entertainer just R50.
The podcaster and businessman who owns beverage company MoFaya had reportedly gone looking for the man who covers himself in cans of Sibusiso Leope aka DJ Sbu’s drinks.
This is how the unidentified man earns a living, as motorists who find his eccentric get-up fascinating tend to hand him cash.
DJ Sbu who was able to track down his brand’s biggest fan, had a brief chat with him before handing him R50 for supporting his business.
“I like MoFaya, I drink it whenever I have money to buy it. This is my way of earning a living.”
DJ Sbu then hands the roadside entertainer R50 as a thank you but has received intense criticism for the amount.
Many felt the self-confessed millionaire could have done more, like giving MoFaya’s “biggest fan” a month’s supply of the energy drink and a cooler as he’s on the road most of the day.

DJ Sbu who was recently criticised for his sloppy appearance, was not recognised by the man. It took a while until he was made aware that it was in fact the owner of his favourite energy drink standing before him.
Comments on social media were once again throwing shade at DJ Sbu, and many felt he had exploited the gentleman to advertised his brand and then just hand him R50.
“It didn’t catch him off guard. He saw a pic of this guy weeks ago and went actively looking for him. Expectations were created only for him to just give the guy R50. I actually wonder if Sbu was put off by the facf that the guy had no idea who he is!”
These niggas jumped out the car, turn on their phone cameras to capture Sibu giving this dude R50. I am blown away. They also posted it. pic.twitter.com/p3syu7gREa
