Legendary South African actor Vusi Thanda pleads with the masses to assist him financially.
Emzini Wenzinsizwa actor Vusi Thanda is pleading with South Africans to help him with donations.
A video of the thespian reading out his banking details and asking for help has been widely shared by social media users.
Reacting to the video, Queen Sono star Pearl Thusi says it is “heartbreaking” to see someone who’s kept so many of us entertained for years now on their knees begging for help.
“Let’s all assist guys,” Pearl pleaded with South Africans.
She continued: “What’s cruel is how the SABC continues to undercut artists as they continue to make money “in perpetuity” and what’s worse is how artists can’t come together and fight this because we’re so divided… things need to change,” said the actress.
It appears Pearl Thusi’s call for South Africans to help out Vusi Thanda did not fall on deaf ears as many committed to donating some money.
SK Khoza reacted: “No man this is Heartbreaking for real…But well said sis wami ad will also do my part to help.”
I wonder what's happening to mzantsi celebs? This is Tshawe an actor…please guys, if you have atleast R10, just offer, God will bless….
