Ama Qamata used her social media accounts to say goodbye to the award-winning Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora.
Qamata won the hearts of many when she played the character of Buhle Ndaba on the program for two years.
Her character was killed after accepting a ride from an unknown person and perished.
Qamata uploaded a video of herself on set on her final day to Instagram.

She is seen in the video breaking down as fellow actors and crew bid her farewell.
She included a heartfelt caption to go with the video and thanked the cast, crew and all South Africans who watched Gomora.
“Can’t even find the right words to type out right now….I’ll keep it simple, thank you Gomora❤️ it’s been an absolute pleasure and privilege to be on the show. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m so blessed to have shared it with you guys.
“Thank you to the cast, crew and producers who are like family to me thank you South Africa for embracing Buhle in your homes and in public lol. I don’t take for granted what this show has done for my growth and career, I’m forever humbled and grateful.” she wrote
