Revealing that she is focusing on her ventures into the business world, Serena said she has evolved away from tennis and her passion is now her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures.

The global icon said she has been reluctant to admit to herself or her family that the time has come for her to put down her racket.
It’s a topic the former World No.1 has avoided with her husband of 5-years, Alexis Ohanian. Serena says that her daughter Olympia who turns 5 this month, wants to be a big sister more than anything.
“Sometimes before bed, she prays for God to bring her a baby sister. She wants nothing to do with a boy.”
As she retires from tennis, Serena Williams says she still gets emotional when people ask her why she’s leaving behind the sport that made her.
But she says it’s time to move on and focus on her family and what’s next.
