Tumi Morake is officially made her way back to Mzansi from her other home in Atlanta.
To honour Women’s Month in South Africa, Morake has announced that she will be hosting a comedy concert with an all-female lineup.
After relocating to the US with her family at the beginning of the year and performing in places like Finland, New York, and Doha, Tumi is now prepared to take on SA once more.

On August 13 at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, Laugh Mosadi, featuring Tumi, Angel Campey, Khanyisa Bunu, Lihle Msimang, Lindy Johnson, Nina Hastie, and Tracey-Lee Oliver, will take place.
Speaking to TshisaLive she said she’s missed being on stage in South Africa.
“There’s no place like home, but also, I missed the women at home. I missed the comediennes, I missed playing with them. And I feel like, for a long time, I was in a space where you didn’t have a lot of female headliners. You didn’t have a lot of women you could put on a stage and a festival. Not only that, people will buy tickets to watch these women and that’s the kind of talent we’re talking about,” said Morake.
