The Tladi family confirmed with profound sadness the untimely passing of musical artist Itumeleng George Tladi, 30.
Itumeleng was widely known by his stage name Tumi Tladi.
He passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning in Johannesburg.
Tumi Tladi was a son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his parents, five siblings, his niece, and nephews.
The Tladi family humbly requests privacy during this period of grieving and asks that the public keeps them in their prayers.
Details of the funeral will be confirmed at a later stage.

Nadia Nakai who featured in Tumi Tladi’s new single wrote after the news of his passing broke:
“We really need to find a new “happy,” cause what’s being chased just ain’t it.”
Publicist Melanie Ramjee thanks Tumi Tladi for the “love and kindness” he always “gave everyone during his time on this Earth.”
Tributes continue to pour in for the young musician on social media.
