The South African Police Services (SAPS) in Gauteng have urged the public to be on the lookout (BOLO) of a suspected murderer.
Detectives have been trying to locate the 31-year old man who is reportedly wanted for the murders of his girlfriend and her 11-year old daughter.
According to police, the man killed them both on 08 March in Nellmapius, Pretoria. It is reported that the victims were choked to death and the child had been raped before she will strangled.
Further details about the incident is unknown to the public but after attempts to trace the suspected murderer proved futile, SAPS has issued a BOLO to the public.
His name and place of residence has not been disclosed.
The public is warned not to approach the man directly but to rather contact the Crime Stop Line on 08600 1011 to report tip-offs or to use the MySaps App.
