This past Mother’s Day former Miss South Africa and businesswoman Basetsana Kumalo reflected on being a mom. She calls it “the highest calling” and says everything else comes second best.
Basi also showed appreciation for the many birthday messages extended to her son on the day. “May the Lord remember you all by name and return the love to you a hundredfold. Thank you for the grace you have shared for this amazing being,” she wrote in part.
The businesswoman and her family spent their Mother’s Day at church. She adds that she felt inspired by the words shared on the day which she also shared with her followers.
Basetsana recently turned 48-years-old. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, she acknowledged the vital role that people around her have played in her life.
“Today I am thankful for family and friends, I am thankful for all the people I work with near and far. Today I am thankful for all the love that surrounds me,” wrote Basi in part.
