After 3 years of trauma, pain & agony, Sbahle Mpisane finally built up the courage to speak about her horrific 2018 car accident that left her bed-stricken.
Following her video titled Sbahle’s car accident, she received mixed reactions from the public, with some saying she was doing it for clout.
Sharing an image holding a teddy bear she got from her mother in 2019 while admitted to hospital, Sbahle addresses the effects of the car accident and the mixed reactions she’s received from the public.
She says 80% of her bones were broken as a result of the car accident. She shares: “In all honesty, my eyes were hanging out, my nose was completely broken, my brain was visible on view (that damage resulted in amnesia), my arms were broken including my beautiful hands, my left knee, ankle plus toes were broken and my right foot was badly broken from my hip, thigh, knee, foot, toe BUT my ankle bone was completely discharged out of my foot at scene 18/08/2018.”
Her right foot was going to be removed from her hip (She’ll discuss this in detail on her YoutTube channel).
Responding to those who failed to understand the purpose of her video, she says: “But to clear everything, I decided to unmask myself to you all as part of 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. I get asked a lot about my recovery & I am here to state that 𝗜 𝗔𝗠 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗝𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗗.”
She further states that her ankle bone which got discharged out of her foot during the accident, was plugged back into place in 2018 but in 2019 it became bloodless & Dr Seedat had to remove it.
She emphasizes that she is “𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘆!”
