Cotton Fest has returned!
The annual music and culture festival has made a return after a two-year hiatus, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The two-day event saw performances from various artists like Moonchild Sanelly, Ma-E, Shekinah, Dbn Gogo, Nadia Nakai, Cassper Nyovest, and AKA just to name a few.
Apart from the star-studded performances, Cotton Fest saw several touching tributes to the late founder Riky Rick, including a heart-warming tribute from Riky Rick’s brother Themba Madladla, who hopped on stage emulating his brother in performance.

This year festival-goers were thoroughly entertained as Cotton Fest saw the introduction of an Amapiano stage as well as a Skate ramp, gaming center, basketball court as well as merch vendors.
As one of South Africa’s biggest events, it is safe to say that Riky’s legacy continues to live on, all thanks to his family, friends, and fans.
