The women’s world number one leaves tennis at the tender age of 25 and just two months after winning the Australian Open.

The Aussie superstar has been a professional player for 12 years, winning 27 singles and doubles titles combined, which include three singles Grand Slams and one doubles Slam.
She also won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Barty hangs up her racquets with a singles record of 305 wins to 102 losses – a 74.9 win percentage.
