Over the past two years, we’ve been hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which escalated many people’s anxiety levels.
Companies started retrenching and restructuring and some had to close down.
As we’re finding a breakthrough from Covid, there are now more pressing issues we have to deal with.
There’s war in Ukraine which has been escalating. Petrol prices going up again. Also, Riky Rick’s untimely passing was a harsh reminder that most of us are suffering in silence.
“With all the things currently happening in the world and here at home, how are your anxiety levels?” Tbose asked The Best T in the City listeners this past Thursday.
Sharon shares: “My anxiety levels are so high. My kids go to school 35 kilometers from where we stay. Petrol prices have gone up and I have to our petrol every second day. I’m alone and the baby daddy is not sending any money, he is ignoring my calls. There’s also a debt of 25k at school. I’ve also been put on hold at work and I’ve just moved into a new place. It’s just a mess. “
What are people saying on social media:
Praying 3 times a day even for 5 minutes calms me down, honestly praying does wonders to my mental well being.#ZiyakhalaThisYear
