Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku makes her much-anticipated debut on The Real Housewives of Durban today.
She is one of three new housewives featured in the new season. Jojo Robinson and Londie London made their debuts last week.
Thobile is no stranger to the spotlight as she’s married to reality television star and polygamist Musa Mseleku.
She has also appeared in Uthando Ne’sthembu and Mnakwethu.
Speaking about why she joined Real Housewives of Durban, Thobile wants the audience to get to know her as an individual.
“People know me from Uthando Nes’thembu, and they don’t get to understand Thobile as an individual. And whenever you go around, people cannot just see you as yourself, but they have to bring in the family you’re married into because that’s how they know you.
“Which is not a bad thing and it’s something that I don’t have a problem with – but I have a life outside the whole family.”
She is also looking to make friends outside of her home.
“I need people that I can mingle with and try to see if I can make a living outside of the home and still have people around me who make sense to me.
“So joining The Real Housewives of Durban is going to assist me in knowing people that I’ve seen already doing stuff for themselves and people that I believe have some things in common. They are all driven just like I am,” she shares.
