SAMA award-winning DJ/producer Nutty Nys has been given the thumbs up by Alicia Keys for his track ‘The Promise.’
The multi-award winning Grammy artist recently celebrated her 41st birthday and she used the deep house track as the background music to her birthday tribute video.
Sharing the lyrics to the song, Alicia said it was fitting to describe how her husband Swizz Beatz treats her and makes her feel.
“He handles me with so much care and attention, and devotion, and adoration, and respect, and kindness, and tenderness, and truth and genuine energy!” she shared with her 22,6 million followers on Instagram.
The lyrics from The Promise by Nutty Nys goes, “Girl I’ll handle you with care.”
Alicia shared that she never knew a love like this existed until she met the record producer, with whom she’s built an empire with.
In the video, Alicia and Swizz Beatz are getting on a private jet heading to Las Vegas for her birthday weekend.
Keys, who turned 41-years on 25 January was spoiled by her husband every day for a week.
The power couple recently celebrated 11-years of marriage by purchasing an 11 000 square-foot residence overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The Promise was released in March last year under The Nys House, Nutty’s label.
This isn’t the first time Alicia Keys has given a South African artist a nod.
Last year, the star showed Pitori ‘Focalistic’ Maradona some love, featuring his track, Ke Star in a video whilst on holiday with her family.
